About BlueList
Q What is BlueList?

BlueList is a Democratic political data and intelligence firm. We provide the research, targeting, and technical infrastructure that campaigns need to reach the right voters and win elections. Our focus is on down-ballot races — state legislative, city council, school board, county, and ballot initiative campaigns — that are chronically underserved by traditional political consulting firms.

Q Do you only work with Democrats?

Yes. BlueList exclusively serves Democratic candidates, party committees, progressive PACs, and ballot initiative campaigns aligned with Democratic values. The "Blue" in BlueList is not decorative.

Q Where do you operate?

We serve Democratic campaigns across the United States. Our team is based in Arizona and we have deep expertise in Arizona races, but our data infrastructure and services are available to campaigns nationwide.

Q What makes BlueList different from other political consultants?

Most political consulting firms are relationship businesses that happen to use data. BlueList is a data and technology firm that happens to work in politics. We build our own analytical infrastructure, we deliver structured intelligence products (not slide decks with gut feelings), and we price our work so that down-ballot campaigns can actually afford it. We also cover areas that most consultants ignore entirely, like how your campaign appears to voters who use modern search and answer tools instead of traditional Google searches.

Products & Services
Q What products do you offer?

Our core products include District Intelligence Reports (ongoing subscription-based intelligence about your race), Race Intelligence Packages (deep-dive analysis of your district, opponent, and electorate), Technical SEO Audits (making sure voters can find your campaign website on search engines), Digital Visibility Audits (making sure modern answer tools represent your campaign accurately), and voter targeting and data services. See our Services page for the full breakdown.

Q What is a District Intelligence Report?

A District Intelligence Report (DIR) is a recurring intelligence product delivered on a regular cadence throughout the campaign cycle. It includes voter registration trends, opponent activity tracking, fundraising updates, ad spend monitoring, and strategic recommendations specific to your district. Think of it as a briefing that keeps your campaign informed about what's changing in your race — so you're never caught off guard.

Q What's a Digital Visibility Audit?

More voters are using tools like ChatGPT, Google's search summaries, and other answer engines to research candidates instead of browsing websites directly. A Digital Visibility Audit examines how your campaign appears across these platforms — what information is surfaced, what's missing, and what's inaccurate. We score your visibility, identify gaps, and give you a concrete list of fixes. Most campaigns don't even know this is an issue, and most consultants aren't equipped to address it.

Q What's included in a Technical SEO Audit?

We analyze every page of your campaign website for the technical signals that search engines use to decide whether to show your site to voters. That includes title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, image labels, structured data, mobile performance, and more. You get a score, a page-by-page breakdown, and a prioritized list of fixes — most of which can be done in under an hour without a developer.

Working With Us
Q How much does it cost?

Pricing is available to verified Democratic campaigns through the client portal. We intentionally price our products so that state legislative, school board, and city council campaigns can afford professional-grade data — not just statewide races with six-figure budgets. Reach out and we'll give you a straight answer on cost for your specific situation.

Q I'm running for school board. Is BlueList overkill for my race?

No. School board races are exactly the kind of race we built BlueList for. The opposition is organized, well-funded, and running coordinated campaigns across multiple districts. You deserve the same quality of intelligence and targeting that state legislative candidates get. We have products specifically designed for the budget and scope of a school board race.

Q Do I need to be tech-savvy to use your products?

Not at all. Our reports and intelligence products are written in plain language with clear recommendations. If an audit says "change the meta description on your issues page," we'll tell you exactly where to go in your website editor and what to type. We do the technical analysis; you get the actionable output.

Q How do I get started?

Send us a message through our contact page or email us at winning@bluelist.ai. Tell us what race you're running, what you're trying to figure out, and we'll come back with a recommendation and a price. No pitch decks, no sales calls unless you want one.

Data & Privacy
Q Where does your data come from?

We work with official public data sources — state voter registration databases, campaign finance filings (FEC and state-level), census and redistricting data, and publicly available records. We combine these with our own analytical models to produce intelligence products. We don't purchase or use data from data brokers, social media scraping, or surveillance tools.

Q Do you work with both campaigns and independent expenditure committees?

Yes, but we maintain a strict firewall between campaign and independent expenditure work, as required by law. If we're providing services to a campaign, we do not simultaneously provide coordinated services to an IE committee working on the same race, and vice versa. Our Firewall Policy has the full details.

Q Is my campaign's data kept confidential?

Absolutely. Your campaign data, strategic intelligence, and targeting information are never shared with other campaigns, committees, or third parties. Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service spell this out in detail. We take data security seriously — it's the foundation of what we do.
